Today I received 5,000 trifold campaign brochures. I’ll try to distribute these as fast as possible, making as many direct connections as possible. 500 per day for 10 days will cover a lot of ground (residential city blocks) relatively fast. If YOU helped we’d complete the canvass even faster!
Please join the campaign and help us contact voters. We’re trying to get 4,000 committed voters to get elected on November 3rd. It takes a ”busload” of volunteers to mount the most effective electoral campaigns. Our bus remains only half full now.
We recently hired Latisha White as the campaign manager, a fellow Northsider and Henry high school alum who attended Florida A & M and graduated from Augsburg College. She is a Communications professional with an interest in public policy that significantly benefits our community. Mrs. White will drive the campaign bus and our destination is victory on election day - November 3rd 2009. We are campaigning to be inaugurated in January 2010 and seated in the 4th Ward City Council office. Get OPEN & get INVOLVED!
We’re applying the Appreciative Inquiry method of systems change to our campaign and public service during our terms in office. Stay tuned for the results of extensive surveying during the door to door canvass. Subsequent to the canvassing we’ll present a series of neighborhood improvement forums to dicuss the future of our community.
